Prololonging the life of waste wood and keeping it from being burned enables continuous carbon storage in the wood.

The Sondre chair is designed to be made in a low-threshold production process. This provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with special needs. The waste wood is being upcycled to a strong base material for the Sondre chair in a local sheltered workplace.
